Morioka Yuuto (
Appearance
Yuuto is a slim, fit young man in his early teens with short brown hair and eyes.
He mostly dresses in the Ginsei Academy uniform, which consists of a white dress shirt underneath a black uniform blazer and black slacks with a white belt and white shoes. He is also seen wearing casual clothes.
Personality
Yuuto is generally a calm, kind, and friendly individual who can easily make friends. He doesn't have much experience with the devils and their world, which initially remains mostly unknown to him. Yuuto is selfless and brave. He opposes Geld after he insulted his parents despite knowing that Geld could easily kill him, which greatly impressed the other devils watching them, including Lizel, who offers to be his card.
Yuuto shows kindness towards his enemies even after major conflicts. Despite Geld insulting his parents and fighting him on his first day at school over a minor incident, he tried to protect Geld from his master, Aspite. When Linel Aspite punished and attempted to kill him for losing to Yuuto despite Yuuto being human, Yuuto attempted to take his side. Yuuto is extremely protective of his friends, family and cards. After discreetly hearing that Lizel and the others will be in trouble if he loses, he becomes very determined and hardworking to save and protect them.
Yuuto is an Otaku thanks to his parent's influence. He likes Masou Gakuen HxH, something that he shares with the current Demon King. He doesn't have much experience with women, something that comes up often. Therefore, he is initially flustered around girls, like Lizel and Miyabi.
Background
Yuuto was initially a normal, teenage high school student.
In the past, his father was struggling to find a job, but fortunately, a Devil helped him find work with conditions far better than any normal human-owned company.
After accepting the invitation to Ginsei Academy, Yuuto's father joined a company that was owned by the Devil race and worked as support to make it easier for the Devils to integrate into the Human World. For his ten years of examplary service, Yuuto's father was given a magic ring that extends his lifespan and preserves his youth. Later on, a similar ring was given to Yuuto's mother which she happily enjoys.
Plot
Yuuto was a normal high school student until he found a mysterious Tarot card beside his pillow, the Lover's Arcana, and found out that he was chosen to be one of the candidates in becoming the new Devil King.
He then transferred to Ginsei Academy, where only the most powerful devils from noble and high-class devil families could enter. It was there that Yuuto starts his journey to become the next Devil King, together with his new friends.
Yuuto is attacked by Geld on his first day at Ginesei Academy. He is helped by Himekami Lizel who manages to defeat him but passes out. He wakes up in his room in the school with Lizel. Lizel explains that she took the liberty to decorate it.
Lizel explains about the current political situation of the Demon World and her intentions to make him the Devil King. While he is still processing the situation, he is visited by two more girls looking to become his cards. They introduce themselves as Yuugaoze Miyabi and Reina. Miyabi offers Yuuto the chance to do whatever he wants with her and become his slave if he makes them his cards.
Yuuto asks for some time to consider the proposal. In the meantime, he trains to better master his magic.
Following several incidents, he agrees to have them as his cards.
He then begins to train with Miyabi to improve his martial arts skills. His natural talent quickly allows him to master what Miyabi has to teach him.
He receives news that Miyabi has been kidnapped by Aspite. Geld unexpectedly helps him by providing Aspite's location, as he considered them friends after he rescued him from Aspite.
Powers and Abilities
Despite Yuuto being a human, thanks to his Arcana and help from Lizel, Miyabi, Koiwai Reina, along with his strong will and talent, he quickly rises in power. He managed to defeat several other extremely powerful individuals, the most significant being Aspite, The World's Arcana User, who was said to be closest to be the next devil king even among all the other Devil King Candidates. After his further training and experiences, Yuuto grew stronger as was able to fight with some others candidates and their cards without aid from his own.
- Characteristic Magic
- Healing Lovers (Love Magic Offer): Lover Arcana´s Characteristic Magic. By having skin contact with the opposite sex (mostly Lover's cards), he can recover mana. The amount of mana transferred changes according to the bond of the people doing it and the level of the stimulation of the act. The Arcana can display the number of magic power shared, depending on the act, he can break his magical power's limit.
- Infinite Lovers: Another characteristic magic of the Lover. It was first awakened when Yuuto wanted to protect someone important to him. It gives him infinite magic power, but constant activation of this can overload the magic circuit and with the Golden pattern make him die.
- Sein (Sword): A true power of Lover Arcana which takes the shape of a silver sword with a golden pattern engraved on him. This magic sword is able to cut through anything and has a purifying effect which allows Yuuto to destroy Lost's immortal body, which was brimming with negativity.
- Lover's Arcana
- The Arcana is sentient and able to converse with Yuuto from time to time, a unique feat unheard of. It allows Yuuto to instantly learn any type of magic spell. Additionally, he can deduce missing pieces in even the most powerful and obscure magic formulas that has been unsolved for a long time and has the potential of destroying the world. Additionally, he can analyze magic, such as Aspite's Another World, and calculate its weakness. It can also estimate the chance of success.
- Blood Line Analysis: The Arcana can analyze Bloodline Magic by collecting the blood of the target. It works better when the blood is not exposed to the outside air.
- Bloodline Magic
- Cutting Connect (Connection Severance): Yuugaoze bloodline magic that Yuuto acquired during his final battle with Ibiza. It can form or sever a bond between people, regardless if they are humans or devils.
- Basic Magic
- Magic Barrier Barricade: A powerful shield that can block offensive attacks. Yuuto first used it to block Geld's fireball.
- Figa (Mega Flame): Basic flame magic.
- Fizard (Hell Flame): Intermediate flame magic;
- Fidezon (Earth Scorching Devil Flame): Advanced flame magic.
- Detonation (Roaring Blast): Basic explosion magic.
- Destructshear (Magic Explosion Pulverizer): Advanced explosion magic.
- Thunderio (Explosive Lightning Hammer): Intermediate lighting magic.
- Thundergia (Thunder God Raiju): Advanced lighting magic.
- Tranzart (Space Transfer): Teleportation magic.
- World Fall: A spell that can destroy the world.
Equipment
Lover's Arcana: Devil Arcana of Lovers. It is shown to be a pretty tarot card with a picture of a naked man and woman facing each other with an angel in the background giving them their blessing. The word『THE LOVERS』is written on it.
